چکیده
ABSTRACT We present a catalogue of 551 214 main-sequence stars in the local (d < 2 kpc) Galactic thick disc and halo, based on search with large proper motions ($\mu _{\rm tot} \gt 40.0~\rm mas\, yr^{-1}$) Gaia Early Data Release 3. derive photometric metallicity calibrated from colour–luminosity–metallicity distribution 20 047 spectroscopic metallicities, collected various surveys, including SDSS SEGUE/APOGEE, GALAH DR3, LAMOST DR6. combine these results to construct an empirical colour–magnitude–metallicity grid, which can be used estimate metallicities for low-mass metal-poor K M subtypes their absolute G magnitude colour values. find that low-mass, high-velocity our share similar kinematics as reported recent studies more luminous halo stars. The pseudo-kinematic analysis sample recovers main structures, Gaia–Enceladus Stream Helmi stream; aside these, appear show remarkably smooth velocity space. Since future data release will provide radial measurements only small number sample, provides targets high interest observation programs.

Pre-Main-Sequence Stars with Photometric Rotation Periods
We use mid-IR (primarily 10 μm) photometry as a diagnostic for the presence of disks with inner cavities among 32 pre-main sequence stars in Orion and Taurus-Auriga for which rotation periods are known and which do not show evidence for inner disks at near-IR wavelengths. Disks with inner cavities are predicted by magnetic disk-locking models that seek to explain the regulation of angular momen...
متن کاملChemical composition of halo and disk stars with overlapping metallicities
High resolution (R = 60 000), high S/N spectra have been obtained for 13 halo stars and 16 disk stars with 5400 <∼ Teff <∼ 6500 K, 4.0 <∼ logg <∼ 4.6 and overlapping metallicities in the range −1.3 <∼ [Fe/H] <∼ −0.5. Equivalent widths of weak Fe i and Fe ii lines are used to determine differential values of Teff and logg. Relative abundances of O, Na, Mg, Si, Ca, Ti, Cr, Fe, Ni, Y andBa are det...
متن کاملPhotometric variability of the Pre-Main sequence stars
The photometric and spectral studies of the pre-main sequence stars are very important for understanding of the early stages of stellar evolution. Depending of the initial mass the young stars pass through different periods of stellar activity. The most prominent manifestations of this activity are changes in the star brightness with different periods and amplitudes.A short review on photometri...
متن کاملPulsating red giant and supergiant stars in the Local Group dwarf galaxy Andromeda I
We have conducted an optical long-term monitoring survey of the majority of dwarf galaxies in the Local Group, with the Isaac Newton Telescope (INT), to identify the long period variable (LPV) stars. LPV stars vary on timescales of months to years, and reach the largest amplitudes of their brightness variations at optical wavelengths, due to the changing temperature. They trace stellar populati...
متن کاملSearching for merger debris in the Galactic halo: Chemodynamical evidence based on local blue HB stars
We report on the discovery of a group of local A-type blue horizontal-branch (HBA) stars moving in a prograde, comet-like orbit with very similar kinematics and abundances. This serendipitously discovered group contains 5 or 6 local HBA stars venturing very close to the Galactic centre; their [Fe/H] is around −1.7, and they seem to present minimum scatter in at least Mg, Si, Ti, Fe, Al, and Cr ...
